Important Information
Insurance Claims
If you are injured in a game it is vital in order to make a claim that you make sure the referee has made a note of the incident in the match report and that Alex (the first aid officer) is aware of the incident.
Then ensure that you or your captain/coach speak with a member of the committee within a week. Your claim will be processed as soon as possible after you speak to the committee member.
 

Important Information
Ambulance Membership
It is highly recommended that you take out ambulance service membership.
The insurance offered to us does not cover any transport in an ambulance. Alex, the first aid officer at the ground, has said that he will have no hesitation in ordering an ambulance if he believes you require one. This could cost you thousands if you are uninsured.
Membership with the Metropolitan Ambulance Service is currently $55 for a single. For information phone 1800 64 84 84 or see the web site:

It is also recommended that each player consider purchasing private health care cover as it provides more comprehensive cover in the event of injury. An alternative is income protection insurance that provides cover in the event that you are unable to work (and is a tax deduction!).
